Guild Activities
The Hand Knit & Crochet Guild Victoria offers a vibrant calendar of activities throughout the year. A highlight includes the popular Annual Yarn & Craft Market each winter, showcasing local indie dyers and small-scale yarn producers. The Guild also takes part in expos, fairs, and community events—such as World-Wide Knit in Public Day—and supports charity knitting initiatives. Members stay informed and inspired through the monthly newsletter and can connect and share via active social media groups on Ravelry and Facebook.
How To Join
The annual membership rate is $50. Memberhip renewal is at the beginning of July each year. New members pay a pro-rata rate if joining significantly later in the year. Members receive a digital membership card and are emailed the next available monthly newsletter.
Membership fees help cover general costs, most importantly the rent and upkeep of the extensive library. Costs are reviewed annually.
The monthly Sunday Sit & Stitch requires a $3 contribution towards renting the meeting room.
