Our Library

The Guild’s library in Ross House is open on the first Sunday of the month from 11am-4pm, concurrent with the Guild Sit and Knit which starts at noon.

The Hand Knit & Crochet Guild has an extensive library of knitting and crochet related books and patterns. The collection is continually being added to and includes currently released titles and magazines. The library book collection has been catalogued and the cataloguing of the Guild’s extensive collection of Patons leaflets is in progress.

There are currently over 1400 books catalogued and available for borrowing. Members are welcome to borrow six items (books and magazines) for a month at a time. As some titles are in demand, we ask that you return all borrowed books at a Sit and Knit the following month. Books for return can be left at the Ross House front desk between business hours as long as they are parcelled and marked for the attention of the Hand Knit & Crochet Guild.

Did you know that the Guild has a swift and a ball winder? These items can be borrowed by members on a monthly basis or used during Sit and Knit meetings.
